New Buckenham Neighbourhood Plan
The Parish Council has a Neighbourhood Plan. Its
development started in 2016 and it was adopted as part of
Breckland’s planning law in 2022. The Plan sets out the
Council’s planning policies based on extensive
consultation and research. It is compatible with
Breckland’s Local Plan as required by the Localism Act of
2011. The Plan is intended to run until 2036, subject to
future legislation. It includes a monitoring process with a
full review every five years.
